With Valentine’s Day approaching, I wanted to get a head start on making desserts and sharing all of them 🙂 To make the “LOVE” I melted Almond Bark white chocolate and then piped the words and heart on wax paper. I let it set up in the freezer for an hour before using it to decorate. Happy Valentine’s Day!
Vanilla Cupcake Ingredients:
1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups flour
1 1/4 cups milk
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
2. Beat the butter at medium speed until somewhat smooth.
3. Pour in sugar and beat well.
4. Add 2 eggs and mix well.
5. Add vanilla, baking powder, salt, flour, and milk, mix well
6.Line baking cups and file 2/3 to ¾ full until it looks like it is supposed to and pour into individual baking cups, until they are about 2/3 full. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
7 . Bake 12 to 15 min or until toothpick comes out clean
2 3/4 cups confectioners’ sugar
6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
6 tablespoons butter
5 tablespoons evaporated milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1.Sift sugar and cocoa together, set aside
2.In separate bowl, cream butter then beat in sugar mixture alternating milk.
3.Blend vanilla and beat until fluffy.
